I've developed several rolls of film in the past couple of weeks. Most of them were from my roadtrip cross country. But I just bought a Bronica ETRS 645 camera and so I have a few test rolls from that with expired film. I also managed to do some printing last night. The contact sheets are dissappointing. My compositions are really boring and I think just about all my shots are underexposed. It's very disheartening and I question myself as a photographer. I guess I'm the type of person who gives up on something if they're not good at it right away. Something I'll try to work on. It's also been a while since I've thought about photography in a

So there's been quite a few changes since I've written in this journal. In fact, I haven't written since before graduating from Berkeley. Now I'm in Baltimore, working as a research assistant to the School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins. Baltimore is an interesting city with disparate contrasts. It should be an interesting place for some street photography, provided I come up with a more surreptitious way to take my photos. I bought a complete darkroom set from an extremely generous couple.
